For clubs & coaches

Claim once. Run the football.

Give every team its own football opportunities - find opposition, post open dates, fill tournaments and recruit - and turn the same information into a controlled public profile families can understand and contact. Enter it once; Grassroute makes the right parts useful everywhere. Free for every club.

What your club gets

One club, every team

Claim the club once, then each team gets its own profile - age group, level, league context, kit and ethos. Small clubs get big-club presentation.

Find & post opposition

Search for suitable opponents by age, format, level, distance and availability, or post an open date and let clubs that fit come to you. MatchFit shows how competitive a fixture looks before anyone commits, and everything you agree exports to your calendar.

List & fill tournaments

List a tournament, take entries by age group and format, and share a clean link into club and league groups. Spaces-left and entry status are tracked for you, so events fill without the back-and-forth.

Venues & pitches

Map each pitch at your venue, allocate a fixture to a specific pitch and time slot, and share a pitch calendar so nothing double-books. Block out maintenance or the league season, and hand it all to a dedicated facilities admin if that suits.

Delegate, safely

Give a team to its own manager, or venues and pitches to a facilities admin, without granting full club control. Enter information once; everyone benefits, nobody treads on anyone.

A controlled public profile

A profile families can actually understand: which teams you run, what level they play, whether you’re recruiting, and where. You choose what’s public - private conversations and personal numbers stay private.

Easy for families to reach you - without families signing up

  • Families find your club and contact you through the details you choose to publish - no account needed on their side.
  • Recruitment status and role-based contacts are clear, so enquiries reach the right person.
  • Your in-app conversations and any details you keep private are never exposed.

Up and running in four steps

1

Claim your club

Search for your club first. Request a claim if it is listed, or create a profile if it is missing.

2

Add your first team

Set its age group, level and league so opponents and families see the real picture.

3

Post your first need

A friendly, a tournament space, a recruitment drive - post it once and share it anywhere.

4

Invite your team managers

Delegate each team to its manager. Enter information once; everyone benefits from it.

Committee questions

How much time does this take?

Start by finding your club and requesting a claim. Approval is separate from completing the profile. Once you have access, add your team’s football details first; photos, grounds and the rest of the profile can follow.

What stays private?

You control what appears on the public profile. In-app messages between clubs, and any contact details you don’t publish, are never shown to the public. Youth enquiries are directed to a parent or guardian route.

Can I let someone manage just one team or just the pitches?

Yes. You can delegate a single team to its manager, or give someone a facilities-admin role for venues and pitches only - without granting full club control.

Does this replace our website or FA tools?

No. Grassroute is the outward-facing network for the football that happens outside formal competition admin. It sits alongside your website and official FA systems, not instead of them.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Free for every club, every team and every feature - now and always.
